Landscapes

My perspective has shifted towards nature, and its safe-keeping.  I paint from memory, photographs, and that place in-betweeen.  Many are visions of places I’ve been to, or places I have yet to see.  Sometimes I include objects of human industrialization, a symbolic commentary. Underneath most paintings is an initial layer of distressed metallics, to simulate an antique aesthetic.  It shows through to the surface of the painting, adding historical depth.  Works are Acrylic on Canvas or Masonite.  Some artwork contains enamel powder, diamond dust, and miscellaneous metallics.   Sizes in inches.
