Houses
My house paintings pay homage to the North Fork of Long Island, and other northeast areas. I like to think of my houses as people, with thoughts and feelings. I like to think houses have a soul, enriched by those who inhabit them. They are the survivors. One of my goals is to create a finished piece that has an antique aesthetic, prompting the viewer to reminisce, or become curious about what was. All works are acrylic on canvas or Masonite, over distressed metallic base. Sizes are in inches.
